Larvik Shipping AS has been involved as a broker for several pallet carriers owned by Janus Andersen.

We have a contract with Elkem Carbon for transport of raw materials from Kristiansand to different Elkem factories located in western and northern Norway. Another main client is Yara International. For Yara we are transporting palletized fertilizer and big-bags from their factory in Glomfjord to the marked in Europe.

For transport of palletized cargo our vessels are fitted with side door handling system, the ultimate in efficient handling of modular products (pallets, sided units, big bags etc). A fleet of onboard forklift trucks complements each vessels side door system, offering even greater port call efficiency.

We offer our service for all ocean transportation activities, with special emphasis on smaller vessels within the European market.

Larvik Shipping employs approximately 32 people and currently operates 3 CO2 tankers and 1 pallet carrier.
